Art Classes in Leeds

Nurturing a lifelong love of art
for primary, secondary
and advanced students

A place to belong, grow & create.

At art-K, we’re passionate about helping children and teens discover the joy of creativity through our award-winning weekly art classes. Recognised as one of the best art studios in the UK for children’s art education, we provide a supportive, non-competitive space where young artists can build skill and confidence. Our engaging after-school art clubs and holiday art workshops include hands-on projects in drawing, painting, mixed media, papier-mâché, and 3D modelling, encouraging imagination while developing real artistic technique.

Our structured curriculum blends creativity with technical skill, helping every student progress at their own pace. With small class sizes, high-quality materials, and caring teachers, we focus on each child’s unique artistic journey, nurturing self-esteem and a sense of belonging. If you’re searching for the best art classes for your child or creative activities in London, you’ll find them at art-K.

Families love our art classes, workshops and parties — read their reviews!

We’ve tried and tested many different programmes before arriving at the one we teach today. Our projects teach artistic skills, whilst encouraging students to bring their individuality to the classes.

Currently, we teach: acrylics, watercolour, inks, clay, pastels and mixed media on surfaces like canvases, paper and more.

Our teachers are fully trained in the art-K programme, health and safety, and safeguarding. They are professional, caring, and DBS-checked, with a max ratio of 7 students per teacher.

Awards include the Young Innovator award from CVC, SME News Community Art Club of the Year, and Most Innovative Art & Crafts Class Provider. We’ve raised awareness on art’s mental health benefits with ITV News, appeared on BBC Radio London, and contributed to a Guinness World Record for the most people painting simultaneously!
