Arts Award

Complete Your Qualification with art-K

What is an Arts Award?

art-K are delighted to offer our students the opportunity to achieve a Bronze or Silver Arts Award qualification.
These are UK-based nationally recognised accreditations from awarding body Trinity College London for ages 11-25.

What are the benefits?

Arts Award is a valuable investment in your child’s creative and personal development.

● A nationally recognised qualification is a great addition to a university application or CV!
● Development of communication and leadership skills.
● Experience in documenting and presenting their artistic journey.
● A deeper engagement with their art and learning self-reflection.
● Confidence and self-esteem building.

What's the difference between Bronze & Silver Awards?

Here is a quick look at the two options for your child:

Bronze Arts Award: A great confidence-builder focused on exploration.
Your child will try out new techniques, research an artist they love, and share a quick creative skill with a peer.
Equivalent grade to GCSE: D-G/3-1. Aimed at age 11-14.

Silver Arts Award: A step up into independence and leadership.
Your child will set a personal creative challenge (like mastering oil painting), research art career paths, and project-manage a real event, like curating a small studio exhibition.
Equivalent grade to GCSE: A*-C/9-4. Aimed at age 14-18.

The main difference? Bronze is about learning and trying new things, while Silver is about independent planning, leadership, and portfolio-building.
