Laura loves connecting people through art. During her degree, she developed interactive textile installations which encouraged community collaboration. Laura has worked with art-K for years, both as a teaching assistant and mural artist. Laura brings these experiences to the Dulwich branch, where she looks forward to encouraging children to enjoy the artistic process.
Deborah’s artistic practice includes a range of different media and techniques. She has worked in schools with children with a range of abilities and additional needs, where she developed a warm and conscientious teaching practice which supports children to grow in confidence and excel beyond their expectations.

Art Classes at our Dulwich Studio
Art classes are taught after school from Monday to Friday, as well as mornings and afternoons on Saturday and Sunday in our art studio at 7 Melbourne Grove (now a cul-de-sac so dropping off is easy; 3 minute walk from East Dulwich Station).
Only at art-K is each student’s artistic journey nurtured individually by working on their own project and progressing at their own pace, which allows students to feel in control of their creative self-expression in a non-competitive environment. Our classes allow students to discover and experiment with exciting art techniques and mediums including shading techniques, watercolour, acrylics, paper sculpture, mixed media and clay sculpture to provide constantly engaging learning opportunities.
