Dale is a South African Fine Art and Illustration graduate with a flair for bringing colour and creativity to every project. From painting vibrant murals for businesses to illustrating educational textbooks on plastic waste, his work blends imagination with purpose. When he’s not covered in paint, you’ll find him skating, surfing, sampling new foods, or buried in a good book. With over seven years of experience teaching art alongside a career in the film industry as a scenic painter and prop master, Dale thrives when sharing his skills and inspiring others to continue to explore the endless possibilities of creativity.
Carl is a graduate in printmaking and illustration from sunny Cape Town. He has taught art at school and university level for many years. He loves drawing, creating collages in mixed media, loves dogs and enjoys working and inspiring creative minds of any age.

Redefining What it Means to Learn Through Art
At art-K, we are passionate about nurturing creativity and building confidence through artistic expression. Our engaging weekly classes, workshops, events, and parties provide a supportive environment where students can grow in their artistic skills while embracing their unique abilities. We celebrate each student’s journey, fostering a community that values collaboration, self-discovery, and mutual support.
Our personalised teaching approach adapts to each student’s age, ability, and interests, ensuring that every individual feels seen and valued. We believe that art education goes beyond technique; it’s about instilling core values, enhancing self-esteem, and encouraging a sense of belonging. By celebrating our students’ successes together and welcoming their outside creations, we cultivate a culture of continuous learning and joy. At art-K, we’re redefining what it means to learn through art, and we’re dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our students. Join us in discovering the transformative power of creativity!
