The Highams Park studio is run by artist and textile designer, Kylie. She specialises in natural dyes and makes colour from plants for paper and textiles. Kylie is passionate about inspiring others to enjoy the process of making and supporting them in their artistic development.
Catherine is an artist who graduated with a BA in Fine Art. Her practice revolves around portraiture, figuration and abstraction, and she explores these subjects through oil, watercolour, drawing and collage. Alongside teaching at art-K and her studio practice, Catherine also co-organises a weekly drawing group at London galleries and occasionally facilitates youth support work in woodwork, metalwork, and creative activism. Catherine is passionate about supporting diverse artistic communities for the invaluable joy, support and knowledge these communities provide.
