The Highams Park studio is run by artist and textile designer, Kylie. She specialises in natural dyes and makes colour from plants for paper and textiles. Kylie is passionate about inspiring others to enjoy the process of making and supporting them in their artistic development.

Anja is an illustrator who works in editorial, product illustration, poster design and more. She is also a lover of traditional craft and likes to knit, sew, do pottery, make paper and bind books. Passionate about enabling students to express their creativity, her favourite part of working in art education is seeing students step out of their comfort zone and create work they never thought they were capable of creating.

Art Classes at our Highams Park Studio

Art classes are taught after school from Tuesday to Friday, as well as mornings and afternoons on Saturday in our art studio at 400 Hale End Road.

Only at art-K is each student’s artistic journey nurtured individually by working on their own project and progressing at their own pace, which allows students to feel in control of their creative self-expression in a non-competitive environment. Our classes allow students to discover and experiment with exciting art techniques and mediums including shading techniques, watercolour, acrylics, paper sculpture, mixed media and clay sculpture to provide constantly engaging learning opportunities.
