The Maidstone studio is run by Pip, a qualified teacher whose likes to create large-scale, 3D sculptures. Having previously run the Purley branch, Pip has brought art-K to its first branch in Kent.
Katie is a print designer and transdisciplinary artist inspired by her experiences and surroundings. After having recently graduated from an MA in Fashion Textile Print, Katie has been enjoying assisting in children’s artistic development within the creative and encouraging environment at art-K.

Art Classes at our Maidstone Studio
Art classes are taught after school from Monday to Friday, as well as mornings and afternoons on Saturdays and Sundays in our art studio at Royal Star Arcade.
Only at art-K is each student’s artistic journey nurtured individually by working on their own project and progressing at their own pace, which allows students to feel in control of their creative self-expression in a non-competitive environment. Our classes allow students to discover and experiment with exciting art techniques and mediums including shading techniques, watercolour, acrylics, paper sculpture, mixed media and clay sculpture to provide constantly engaging learning opportunities.
