At art-K, we have a social mission to enhance the art experience of the local communities we are nestled in. Nationally, we invest in research to understand the challenges and needs facing different groups of our population (see blog posts here and here), and locally we love working with businesses, charities and community venues.
We enjoy fostering relationships with other organisations to bring more art to the area, inspire people through colour and creativity, and spread the word that art and community matter.
Some examples of collaborations we’ve delivered include:
- Schools: raffles, fairs, careers talks, murals and installations, workshops
- Exhibitions in local venues (including libraries, breweries, vineyards, theatres, estate agents, empty shops)
- Murals in public and private spaces (playgrounds, cafes, shopping centres, train stations)
- Art workshops with local cafes, Natural History Museum, pubs, garden centres, libraries, festivals, town centre events
- Light trails, treasure hunts, the list goes on..!
Each event is designed to offer mutual benefit for both art-K and our partner organisation. With our 50+ studio locations, we typically deliver around 100-150 events per year! Examples of mutual benefit could include art-K connecting with a new (relevant) audience, cross promotion, on-site branding.
If you’re interested in a collaboration; whether to bring life to an area or bring a workshop to your community, please complete the form below with some initial details. Costs depend on the nature of the event and budget available.
*Please note: If you’re looking to hire art-K for an event which does not have a mutual benefit component, please visit our Events page and complete the form there.
