Pride can be defined as “a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one’s own achievements” and pride was the running theme at art-K Clapham’s free workshop class last Sunday! Our young artists were asked to discuss what they take pride in; themselves and/or their community.
As seen in the video above, what followed was a mixture of colourful Keith Haring inspired figures containing a variety of inspiring characteristics that our young artists are proud of:
“Be nice to people”
“Generous”
“Accepting”
“Creative”
“Polite”
“Sense of humour”
“Caring”
“Sharing”
“Grateful”
These vibrant figures now decorate the windows of art-K Clapham. Come and swing by and look at what prides the children in Clapham’s community!
